US Pledges a Significant Aid Contribution, Delivering a Blunt Ultimatum to the UN.

With an announcement that pairs financial support with a firm ultimatum, Washington has vowed $2 billion for United Nations humanitarian programmes. But, this aid came with a stark warning for the international body: it must "adapt or die."
