Both young individuals who died in Saturday’s violent attack on the university campus were being remembered Monday – as a manhunt for their shooter carried on following the release by Rhode Island officials of the single suspect detained in connection in the case.
The young woman Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama, was called “an amazing, stable, pious, radiant soul”, according to the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, which offered condolences for her at a gathering on Sunday.
