Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little jester” is countless.
