Netflix Chooses Spot-On Performer for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.

Netflix announced this week that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Mr. 2. This character possesses the power to change into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that character reimagined as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the source material and anime.

This performer joins a number of recently announced actors tasked with bringing the group to life, featuring head Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, an emerging star as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as the ruler of the fictional land.

Though the role is a important part of Baroque Works, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden storyline, this represents a notable change in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could signal additional alterations to the story’s structure.
